Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

CrossPointe Central does not require users to create a CrossPointe Central account and does not intentionally collect or store personal information.

We do collect limited technical information through Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the application is used and improve its performance. This information may include:

• Device and browser information
• Pages viewed
• Sections viewed and links, buttons, or features used
• General usage statistics
• Anonymous performance and diagnostic information

This information is used only to improve CrossPointe Central and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.

CrossPointe Central does not send sermon-note text, Wayfinder questions or feedback notes, or information entered in forms to Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics.

Third-Party Services

Certain optional features connect directly to third-party services.

These may include:

• Google Sign-In
• Google Drive (for saving sermon notes)
• YouVersion Bible (when available)

When you choose to use these features, authentication occurs directly with the respective provider. CrossPointe Central does not store your Google or YouVersion account credentials.

Any documents you choose to create or save are stored directly within your own Google Drive account, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Likewise, any information associated with your YouVersion account is managed by YouVersion under their own policies.

Google User Data Retention and Deletion

CrossPointe Central does not retain Google OAuth access tokens or Google user data on CrossPointe Church servers. When you authorize the Save to My Google Docs feature, the access token provided by Google is held temporarily in your browser's memory. It is not written to local storage or a CrossPointe database, and it is discarded when it expires or when the page is closed or reloaded.

A Google Doc created through Central is stored in your own Google Drive and remains there until you choose to delete it. Central does not keep a separate copy or apply an additional retention period. You can delete a document through Google Drive and empty your Google Drive trash if you want it permanently removed, subject to Google's own retention policies.

Sermon-note drafts saved on your device remain in that browser's local storage until you select Clear Notes or clear the site's stored browser data. These local drafts are not stored on CrossPointe Church servers.

You may revoke Central's future access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account connections. Revoking access prevents future Google Drive access but does not delete documents that were already created in your Drive; those documents remain under your control and can be deleted directly in Google Drive.

CrossPointe Central's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

CrossPointe Central may use cookies or similar technologies that are required by Firebase, Google Analytics, Google authentication, or integrated third-party services. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral marketing.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the integrity of CrossPointe Central. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of CrossPointe Central constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
